Flatness and stress relieving
Obtaining maximum flatness is one of our main objectives. After the recent improvements in one of our flattening processes, we are capable of guaranteeing up to ¼ of the EN tolerance standard corresponding to the grade of material supplied in thicknesses equal to or greater than 8 mm.
Surface cleaning
Due to the increasing automation of the post-cutting processes, surface cleaning has become a critical aspect for our customers. That being the case, at Aceros Ormazabal we are continuing to work on the evolution of our cleaning systems to obtain an excellent surface finish.
Cutting and flattening
We have two specialist cutting lines for medium and high thickness, which are capable of processing coils of up to 30 mm in thickness, 2 m wide and lengths greater than 18 m.

We ecologically pickle industrial plate for laser cutting of up to 50 mm thickness, in order to improve its surface finish and optimise its performance
Ecological pickling
Our pickling process without the use of chemicals or residues is unique in the market, as it has been comprehensively and exclusively developed for Aceros Ormazabal.
What do we get?
Our ecologically pickled steel translates into a product with better performance and better surface finish, making its especially suitable for processes such as laser cutting. It allows double pickling processes for an even better surface finish.
